Holding Time Exhibition

Holding Time brings together three artists, Ayse McGowan, Caroline Matthews, and Michelle Weiner.
Through painting, drawing, and printmaking, the exhibition celebrates the quiet, often overlooked moments that root us in the natural and familial world and highlights how we hold on to time: through memory, imagination, and creative expression.
This collaborative exhibition features new works alongside highly commended pieces recognised in major art awards, including the Jackson’s Art Prize, Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize and at the Mall Galleries, London.

The Bakery Gallery - 2024/25
I spent almost a year at The Bakery - an artist-run gallery off Islington's quirky, Camden Passage. 6 Charlton Place. A vibrant space where my work was showcased alongside nine other North London artists. You can find everything from paintings to drawings, monotype to screen prints, ceramics and much more! All permanent artists contribute to curating shows and manning the gallery. There is an annual programme of solo exhibtions too. I no longer show work there but do take a look at the website for more information and pop along!
Open: Thursday - Friday, 12am - 6pm
Saturday - Sunday, 11am - 6pm
Location: 6 Charlton Place, London, N1 8AJ

RA Summer Exhibition 2024
The Royal Academy of Arts holds the world’s largest submission exhibition (now with 16,500 entries annually). Every year since 1769, it has showcased a diverse selection of contemporary artworks hung side-by-side with Royal Academicians.
This year Ann Christopher RA challenged artist to explore the idea of 'making space' - giving space, taking space, and any interpretation in between. My submission is a personal one. ‘The Traditional Priestly Blessing’ is created with spiritual space in mind. The space between ‘man’ and ‘G-d’. The power and humility of man in one print.
Discover my etching in Room 8, curated by the esteemed, Anne Desmet RA and enjoy 1700 works of art in one building!
Dates: 18 June - 18 August, 2024
Open: Monday, CLOSED
